best concert ever. ever.
last night's diesel xxx party was a. ma. zing. i was of course excited to see m.i.a. (for like the 11th time), but also n.e.r.d. & i found out last minute that t.i. was scheduled too. hoo-ray! i (poli) weasled my way up to the very front during chaka khan's performance & maintained front row status for the rest of the night. t.i.'s performance was amazing. i haven't been listening to his new stuff lately & i forgot how much i used to like him. m.i.a. came out for a minute for "swagger like us" & i didn't even notice until her set later that she is soooo super pregnant. i can't believe she was able to keep her spermination a secret from perez hilton. after a few songs from "kala", n.e.r.d. joined her for paper planes & then an amzing set of their own. pharrell was wearing black & red leather jacket just like michael jackson's in the thriller video & nerdy (teehee) black rimmed glasses. (sigh) where is my nerdy/hipster/skater boy...? if you find him, please pass along the message that i wanna have like 10,000 of his babies.
